Influencer Marketing Platform Fabulate Secures $4.5 Million Investment, Valuation Reaches $84.5 Million

Fabulate, a prominent influencer marketing and technology platform operating in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, has announced a successful $4.5 million investment in its latest funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $84.5 million (approximately 115 billion KRW). This investment underscores strong confidence in the company's robust profitability and its AI-driven technological capabilities, with existing shareholders reinvesting approximately 90% of the capital.

Successful Investment Round Driven by Profitability

Fabulate's successful $4.5 million (approximately 6.1 billion KRW) investment round was driven by the company's existing profitability and the fact that the round was oversubscribed. Notably, approximately 90% of the total capital came from reinvestments by existing shareholders, eliminating the need for an external funding process.

Toby Kennett, CEO of Fabulate, commented on the investment, stating, "The company is profitable, and the funding request was oversubscribed, so we didn't pursue an external fundraising process." He added that the raised capital would be used to further accelerate growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Chairman Patrick Forth emphasized that the company's impressive growth, coupled with its differentiated AI-powered technology platform, was highly regarded.

Accelerating APAC Expansion and AI Technology Innovation

Over the past two years, Fabulate has expanded its operations beyond its home base in Australia to include New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan. To support this regional expansion, the company recently strengthened its key personnel by appointing Jon Kee as Commercial Director for Southeast Asia, Japan, and South Korea, and Gabrielle Lawton as Commercial Head for New Zealand.

Furthermore, Fabulate is enhancing its suite of AI-powered tools on the product front. AI technology plays a crucial role in every stage, from creator discovery and vetting to campaign execution and measurement. The recent launch of 'SparQ,' a new tool, further boosts the platform's competitiveness.

Securing Market Competitiveness Through YouTube Partnership

Fabulate has cemented its unique market position by being named one of YouTube's 17 selected 'Creator Partnership Service' providers. This designation by YouTube signifies that Fabulate is both a platform and an agency partner that can access creator-consented, verified audience data.

Through this partnership, Fabulate has become one of a limited group of companies able to integrate the YouTube Creator Partnership API into its products for advertiser-focused creator discovery and measurement tools. This officially acknowledges Fabulate's technological capabilities and data accessibility, providing a distinctive competitive edge in the Asia-Pacific influencer marketing market.
